Culture Days in Fuglafjørður
The Culture Days are visited by people all over the country and abroad, as the programme is versatile and exciting.
This year, Fuglafjørður Culture House also features an eclectic music programme as part of the Nordic Puls-programme, with three double-concerts featuring brilliant Faroese musicians teaming up with Nordic musicians.
Two popular recurring venues and events are the Umbrella Street and the swimming pool concert. A hike over the mountain to starters and music in Hellurnar is also scheduled with a return trip on the schooner Norðlýsið, where Captain Enni’s famous soup will be served. Saturday features a Nordic Food Market with local producers presenting their best products.
The renowned Faroese chef, Leif Sørensen, will have a pop-up restaurant together with a talented Icelandic chef, Fanny Dóra, in Ribarhús, the old shop in town, where they will serve a five-course menu with Faroese quality products cooked with a Nordic touch.
