Whole fish roasted in the oven
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Slice the lemons into pieces about 4 mm thick.
Grease a baking tray with oil or butter, and place the fish on the tray.
Rub a little butter, salt, and pepper into the fish, then add the lemon slices and herbs.
Sprinkle a little salt over the fish and place a few lemon slices on top, along with a few small dots of butter, if desired.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
