The second Closed for Maintenance campaign was planned for spring 2020, but had to be postponed more than a year because of COVID-19.
The much anticipated working days began on September 21st 2021 when over 50 volunteers arrived from 20 different countries and joined some 30 Faroese volunteers in working in these locations across the country:

• 1 - Tjørnuvík
• 2 - Miðvágur
• 3 - Funningur
• 4 - Klaksvík 
• 5 - Hestoy
• 6 - Nólsoy
• 7 - Skúvoy
• 8 - Tvøroyri
• 9 - Hellurnar

Work continued from previous projects on the paths in Klaksvík, Nólsoy and Hellurnar. New projects included signs and wayfinding posts near Tjørnuvík, path maintenance on the isolated islands of Hestur and Skúvoy as well as a safety fence at the well-known viewpoint overlooking Funningur.
