The conference will discuss the opportunities and challenges that may arise, now Britain no longer is a member of the EU. It will be explained what Brexit is about, and how the Faroe Islands will be affected by the shift in Britain. The focus will be on why the Faroese co-operation with Britain is os modest? Why not use the situation commercially, when it comes to exports and imports, in contrast to such a great neighbour, with almost 70 million residents?
After the lectures, there will be a panel debate that will discuss how the Faroe Islands can take advantage of the new situation after Brexit. The audience will be given the opportunity to ask questions both to the lecturers and to the panel.
Companies that have registered to Faroexpo 2020 are automatically registered to the conference.
