This is an authentic guided boat experience. You sail in a traditional Faroese boat – the utmost of Faroese handicraft.
Sailing north, towards Viðareiði, you explore the coastline of Viðoy. By Viðareiði you sail by wondrous landscapes, spectacular gorges and grottoes – perfect for photography. Weather permitting, you will sail into one of the grottoes and
enjoy a moment with the engine turned off.
You will be given time to take in the impressions, while hearing local stories about people’s way of life here in this remote area of the Faroe Islands.
You are likely to observe seabirds such as puffins, black guillemot and Arctic tern. These birds are part of the marine ecosystem as they find all their food in the ocean. Adding to this context, we bring fishing rods, so that you can try to cast
a fishing line.
Returning to the marina you sail by the abandoned
village of Múli with stories of its own.
