Marius and Esben Svane at the Culture House

This is a Puls Nordic concert, where a Faroese artist or group invites a Nordic solo-artist or group to play together at a Faroese venue.

Marius Ziska is best known for his Going Home song, and both play personal and heartfelt music. Svane has translated one of Ziska’s songs for his up-coming CD

Puls brings you pop/rock of the highest class at the Cultural House in Fuglafjørður, when Marius Ziska (FO) and Esben Svane (DK) play a double concert, which might very well be one of the best concerts this summer.

Marius Ziska is one of the most popular Faroese pop/rock artist of recent years. His list of hits is ever growing, and his most recent album won the Faroese Music Award for best album of 2018. The sound is modern – it is pop/rock with that very Faroese sense of Melancholy. Backed by some of the finest musicians in the Faroe Islands, a Marius Ziska concert is always a great musical experience.

Danish songwriter/singer/drummer and producer Esben Svane is known from bands like The Radar Post, Ulige Numre, Michael Falch & Vildfugle, and a Friend in London that represented Denmark in the Eurovision final in 2011. As a producer, he has worked with names such as Søs Fenger, Ida Wenø & the Faroese hit sensation Danny & The Veetos. At the moment, he’s working on his debut solo album, and this concert is a unique oppurtunity to have a sneak peak of his new music.
