Opposite Fuglafjørur is a so-called “healing spring” called Varmakelda, directly translated as “the warm spring”. The small, 16-18 degrees inconspicuous spring’s healing powers lie in the thermal water continually bubbling from the underground. The water is also said to increase love and passion, while the tranquil surroundings and the gently rocking stone in the shoreline have a meditative effect.
