The Faroe Islands are a cool little cluster of 18 islands tucked away in the North Atlantic, each offering its unique landscape and character. The islands are divided into six regions, each with distinct features, making the Faroe Islands a place where there’s always something new to discover.

Up in the Northern islands, including Viðoy, Borðoy, Kunoy, Kalsoy, Svínoy and Fugloy, you will find wild, rugged cliffs and dramatic scenery. Eysturoy, the second-largest island, is known for its mountainous terrain, including Slættaratindur, the highest peak in the Faroes. The central region, Streymoy, is home to the world's smallest capital, Tórshavn. This central hub is where Faroese culture comes alive, with cosy cafes, historic sites, and the pulse of island life. Head south to Suðuroy and Sandoy, where rolling hills and ancient tales are woven into the landscape, making it the perfect place to unwind and explore history. In the West, Vágar, prepare to be wowed by breathtaking fjords and waterfalls. It’s also the gateway to a birdwatcher’s paradise where puffins and other seabirds steal the show. Each area offers a blend of natural wonders, history, and tradition, making the archipelago a diverse and fascinating destination.
