Art exhibition with Heiðrikur á Heygum

Heiðrikur á Heygum is showcasing his artwork at Gamla Seglhúsið (the Old Sailhouse) in Klaksvík from Friday, October 4th to October 25th, 2024.

The art exhibition is titled "Hvøreriegnú?" (who am I now?). It features 12 watercolor paintings, each depicting the human body in various deconstructed forms.

The exhibition revolves around the theme of transformation, where Heiðrikur reflects on the journey from something old to something new. In his artworks, Heiðrikur contemplates recreation, rebirth, identity, and healing. – To start anew, one must break things apart.

The exhibition is open on weekdays from 14:00 to 17:00 and on Sundays from 15:00 to 18:00.
