Guest performers: Marius Ziska and Lea Kampmann

Most people have heard about the grand arena Við Tjarnir, but few have seen it with their own eyes. Faroese residents will soon have the chance at the grand opening event, which takes place on March 1st.

For this extraordinary occasion, none other than the Faroe Islands Symphony Orchestra will open the grand arena. Joining them on stage will be the honorary guests from Vágaverk: Stongum, Guttesen, and Ravnsfjall.

Marius Ziska and Lea Kampmann will also be invited to perform with the Faroe Islands Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Bernharður Wilkinson. Teitur Lassen has arranged Lea Kampmann's music for a chamber orchestra.
