Experience an intimate living room concert with Guðrun & Bartal, the 18th of Nov

Monday evening, November 18th at 20:00, there will be a concert with Guðrun & Bartal in the cozy living room of Elin Brimheim Heinesen in the heart of Tórshavn. Coffee, tea, and cakes are included in the price. ONLY 30 SPOTS, so hurry to buy your tickets.

Guðrun and Bartal made their way onto the Faroese music scene when they won the music competition Sement in 2011. Later that same year, they came in second in Amnesty's songwriting competition Fræls og javnlík, with the song "Hygg rundan um."

In the fall of 2012, they began recording their album Vónin er at Studio Bloch. Benjamin Petersen produced, played instruments, and mixed the sound, while Mikael Blak played bass and keyboards, Høgni Lisberg played drums, percussion, and provided backing vocals, Per I. Højgaard played percussion, Jákup Zachariasen played steel guitar, Tóri Restorff Jacobsen played cello, Angelika Nielsen played violin and viola, Finnur Koba provided vocals, and Hans Marius Ziska contributed to the chorus.

The album received a great reception, and the beautiful, emotional voice of Guðrun, paired with Bartal's lyrical guitar riffs, struck a chord with many Faroese people.
