Diving in Æðuvík
Æðuvík is the most southerly village on the island of Eysturoy. It is a natural harbour with depths starting at about 10 metres. There are sheer cliff walls on both sides as you leave the harbour. Outside the harbour entrance, there are very large rocks with a wide variety of plant and animal life.
Diving can only take place when the wind is in a westerly direction. Great caution must be exercised when there are swells. Only small swells are acceptable.
Depths: 8-25 m. Visibility is largely dependent on the weather. There is good parking near the harbour.
