Dúvugarðar - Saksun Heritage Farm
Dúvugarðar in Saksun is the largest farm in the Faroe Islands, supporting a flock of some 700 sheep for breeding on 2.500 hectares/6.200 acres.
The old heritage farm of Dúvugarðar, which today is a museum, dates back to the 18th century and the farmhouse and buildings around it are kept in their original state.

In 2024 the farmers family started a project to restore the old heritage farm of Dúvugarðar. It is an ongoing restoration and preservation of the entire farm and the ambition is to bring back the true spirit of a farmer´s lifestyle in the 18th century and to give you the opportunity to experience it.
