The seabed is stony with seaweed forests

Drive out of Tórshavn towards Hvítanesvegin and take the turn towards Hvítanes. There is parking near the harbour.

The seabed is stony with seaweed forests where there is a rich variety of plant and animal life. There is a wall along the southern side of the bay. Getting into and out of the water is easy as it is sheltered from the current. There are swells in easterly wind conditions.
