New Year’s Celebration with Hamradun and RSP at Mentanarhúsið

The Culture House (reed Faroese: Mentanarhúsið) in Fuglafjørður invites everyone to an unforgettable New Year’s music celebration on December 28, featuring Hamradun and RSP on stage. This evening, the Culture House will set the stage for an electric concert, where two of the Faroe Islands' most beloved bands—Hamradun and RSP—will bring you the best of Faroese folklore (kvæði) rock and hip-hop.

Hamradun, which released its third album in August, has cemented its place as one of the Faroes' most acclaimed rock bands. Led by the powerful voice of Pól Arni Holm, perfectly suited to its unique blend of kvæði and folk rock, Hamradun has won over countless Faroese fans. This year, it delivered one of the top performances at the Summarfestival and recently played to a sold-out crowd at OY in Tórshavn.

Joining them is RSP, known for their raw, playful, and irreverent rap, combined with catchy rhythms and Heini Rannason á Heygum's superb production. RSP always bring the crowd to a boil. No wonder they were a headliner at this year’s Summarfestival and a crowd favourite at G! Festival. RSP has become the go-to party band for young Faroese audiences.
