Run or walk 21.1 km from Gásadalur to the church in Sandavágur.

In 2027, the Vágar sports club Ítróttarfelagið Frælsi will once again organise the Faroe Islands’ Most Beautiful Half Marathon. The event takes place on Saturday, 4 September, and participants can run or walk from Gásadalur to the church in Sandavágur.

Walkers start in Gásadalur at 10:00, while runners start at 11:00.

Entry fees:

DKK 350 until 1 February.

DKK 450 until 1 May.

DKK 550 until 26 July. This is also the deadline for ordering the Guðrun & Guðrun running top. The top costs DKK 629, and the 2027 edition is light yellow.

DKK 650 until 31 August, which is the final registration deadline.

The entry fee includes a medal, race number, bus transport from Giljanes to Gásadalur, food at the finish line and entertainment along the route.
