Experience the historical house in Eiði

Látrið is open this summer!
You are warmly welcome to visit Látrið – a small historical house in Eiði that shows what life in the Faroes was like in the 1800s. During June and July, it is open:
Mondays 10–12
Thursdays 14–17

Come explore the smoke room, glass room, and more, with original furniture and stories. The house was built using materials brought by boat from Tórshavn in the 1830s. It once housed up to 21 people and even animals under the same roof.
Preserved by the Eiði Heritage Society, Látrið offers a unique insight into Faroese culture and rural life.
