It will be something truly special and historic. Steintór Rasmussen, with his guitar and songs, returns to his beloved hometown. This is where he fell in love as a young man and wrote his first songs – about presence and the beauty found among the great and majestic mountains, about the hungry dog Brúna, and about the life-affirming words: I want to love, I want to live, I want to embrace love.

Already at the age of 23, Steintór may have understood that the work of art would never be finished. But to write is to live. And writing and singing in his mother tongue comes naturally to Steintór.

It is as if the poet looks out through the window, and the words simply come to him. You have gazed across the fjord and longed to get away. Steintór has written countless songs about everything between heaven and earth. Naturally, he has also written songs about his hometown and the Faroe Islands – as well as songs about freedom and peace, and about all the tragedies of the world.

Music is a language that transcends all the boundaries of the mind. And few are as capable as Steintór, through his countless songs, of expressing who we are as human beings and the feelings we carry within us.

This is an intimate living-room concert, with seating at tables. Each table has four seats, so if you wish to sit together, it is important that you book your tickets together.

Lítli Køkurin will be open with tasty bites, while Fjósið will be serving good wine and more.

The doors open at 19:00, giving you time to find your seats and purchase something delicious to enjoy before the music begins at 20:00.
