Participants Búi Dam is nominated for the 2026 prize for directing and screenplay, together with Jón Hammer, Durita Sumberg and Mark Steele, who are all nominated as producers.
Sakaris Stórá won the prize in 2025 for directing, together with Mads Stegger and Tommy Oksen for the screenplay, and Jón Hammer as producer.
This year, six Nordic films have been nominated for the prestigious Nordic Council Film Prize. The nominated films will be screened during October 7-9. The winner will be announced on 20 October.
