Bárður Dal Christiansen – "If no other world awaits next"

If no other world awaits next, the question is not what comes next, but what do we do with it? We talk about happiness as though it lies just ahead, as something we can reach, if we just keep moving.


But what happens if we stop before then?

If we don't run?

But instead turn towards what we are already standing in — or perhaps simply choose a completely new path?
We often wait for things to get better. Everything has been better, and at the same time everything is getting better. But "better" keeps moving while we wait. Perhaps the question is not when things will get better. Perhaps the question is whether we should be waiting at all.
Saturday the 27th of June at 3:00 PM, a new exhibition opens at Gallarí Havnará.
The vernissage begins with a special programme featuring performances from the women's choir Cantabile, words from Bartali Augustinussen, a live set with Silvurdrongur and Torleikur Mortensen, and a DJ set with Brynjolfur.
The programme is approximately 40 minutes.
Of course there will also be something good to eat and drink.
I would love to see you there for an enjoyable and different moment together with art, music and good conversation.
It will be a good day. Almost as good as all the others.
