Culture, food and music, with events centered around the musician Niels Midjord

The first weekend of September is dedicated to culture, food, fun events and music in the town of Fuglafjørður in Eysturoy.

The Culture Days are visited by people all over the country and abroad, as the programme is versatile and exciting. Fuglafjørður Culture House usually features an eclectic music programme. Two popular recurring venues and events are the Umbrella Street and the swimming pool concert.

This year the programme centers around the multifaceted musician, Niels Midjord, who affected life in town in many ways, but died suddenly a few years ago.
