The group consists of local Faroese musicians and composers.
Norðurglóð performs mainly compositions by Arnold, although the band sometimes also plays songs by other members of the band and by other Faroese composers.
The genre is anchored in jazz music, with the seeds of other genres, but always with plenty of room for improvisation and experimentation.
Arnold Ludvig – bass & composer
Justin James – alto & tenor sax
Kristian P. Ellefsen – tangentar
Brandur Jacobsen – drums
