Step into history at Blásastova, a 19th-century farmhouse in Norðragøta

This museum allows you to explore and experience Faroese culture and our ancestors’ way of life. You can also see the storehouses, a boat house, the traditional church built in 1833, and the statue of Tróndur í Gøtu, a critical Viking chieftain who lived here.
The village path, which starts right by the museum, will take you over the mountain to Leirvík. Here, you will find a Viking settlement and the Boat and Art Museum, which showcases the importance of the Faroese boat.

Groups (a minimum of 20 people) can book traditional Faroese lunch.
