At MorMor is the yellow house, Undir Heygnum in Tvøroyri, with a small sewing workshop, a café, and rooms for accommodation.
The buildings date back to 1890, and most people from Tvøroyri know them as MorMor’s house — belonging to MorMor, Laurina Voksnæs Hansen — who was from Skagen and moved here after getting married.
The café is open approximately three days a week from May to September. During the winter, we also have occasional café openings as well as music and other cultural events from time to time. These are announced on Facebook.
At MorMor, we focus on serving homemade food made from good-quality ingredients. We bake bread and cakes, and make soups, among other things.
