Sleep in a unique boat-shaped bed suspended inside a Faroese boathouse

BátaBólið offers a truly unusual overnight experience, sleeping in a suspended, boat-shaped shelter inside a traditional Faroese boathouse, close to the sea.

Inspired by the traditional Faroese rowing boat, BátaBólið is locally crafted using natural materials. Its structure consists of ten wooden frames covered in a canvas made entirely from Faroese wool, woven in the same way as traditional woollen boat sails.

Fall asleep to the sound of waves and wind, and wake up surrounded by the beauty of the Faroese landscape. This is not a conventional hotel stay, but a chance to experience nature and Faroese maritime heritage in a completely different way.

BátaBólið is five metres long and accommodates two adults and two children, or three adults.
