Explore the Saga Museum in the Faroe Islands for a vivid virtual journey from Norse settlers through the Viking Age to today.
Vestmanna Tourist Centre houses the only wax museum in the Faroe Islands, the new Saga Museum. Through 17 very life-like figures placed in very realistic surroundings, you can follow the history of the Faroe Islands from the very first settlers to more recent times.
You can buy access to the museum at a reduced rate when you buy your ticket to the boat tour.
The museum is open every day in the summer from 9 am to 5 pm.
Vestmanna Tourist Centre has a restaurant and a gift shop, including a popular boat tour to the Vestmanna Cliffs.
