ART GALLERY, SANDUR

A beautiful museum in modern gallery of Sandur built by architect J.P. Gregoriussen according to the plans of Sofus Olsen (1913-2006). Sofus had this museum built in his native village to exhibit the works of Faroese artists.

You can admire works of the greatest artists such as S.J. Mikines, Janus Kamban and Ingálvur av Reyni.

From April 25th – August 31st:

Thursday - Sunday: 13.00-16.00

Otherwise by appointment throughout the year and outside of these opening hours.

It’s also possible to book the museum for events.
PRICE
Admission: DKK 60 per person

For groups of more than 12 people: DKK 50 per person.

If you want to visit us before or after of our regular opening hours, the minimum price is DKK 300.
