The cozy Tarvafjósið is owned bu Lions Club Suðuroy. The members recently restored the building, and the result vas very good. The house is situated right nex to the home of one of the Faroe Islands most famous poets, Pól F. Joensen (1897 - 1970). Outside the house, you can see a stone with a bronze-relief of Pól F. The stone is from Sumba, Pól F's childhood village.

The house sometimes hosts cultural events, and can be rented for overnight stays. 600,- for the night + 200,- for cleaning.
