Watercolours by newly-local Jórun Pólsdóttir in Gallery Ribarhús

Visit Jórun Pólsdóttir's watercolour exhibition in Gallery Ribarhús in Fuglafjørður.

Jórun Pólsdóttir, who lives in Fuglafjørður, is a biologist and has written the book 'Okkara Fuglar' (about birds of the Faroe Islands) together with Silas Olofson. She is also a musician and choirmaster in the choir Lanterna.

The inspiration for the watercolours in the exhibition are all birds, people and home life, often playing with bright colours for familiar subjects.

Jórun loves birds, as 'Faroese Birds' testifies to, and she likes to paint her winged friends with their characteristics, and to play with the colours.

The pictures in Ribarhús are for sale and are perfect as a gift for a special occasion.

The exhibition will run until mid-June.
