Has the zipper on your jacket broken, or is your vacuum cleaner not working? Visit the Repair Café at Fab Lab Vágur – a space where we help each other fix things instead of throwing them away.

Fab Lab is now expanding the Repair Café with a greater focus on various resources. Far too much is discarded, even though it could get a new life with a little care. At Fab Lab Vágur, we want to change that – which is why we’ve decided to give our Repair Café more space and make it more visible in the local community.

The Repair Café is open every month – on the first Thursday from 17:00 to 21:00.

Here, you can meet Monika, who helps with handcrafts, sewing, patching, and clothing repairs – and Allan, who is ready with tools and knowledge for technical repairs, e.g., vacuum cleaners, toasters, or lamps.

Learn to repair – instead of throwing away.
