On July 9th, Maria á Lakjuni will perform a concert at Ribarhús in Fuglafjørður.

Having just completed her bachelor’s degree at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, Maria will present brand-new songs written during her studies. As part of her bachelor project this spring, she has worked on composing music for poems by local poet Alexandur Kristiansen, and the concert will offer a chance to hear several of them performed for the very first time.
Joining her on stage is Benjamin Djurhuus on guitar, vocals, and other instruments.
An intimate musical experience with Faroese material at its heart.
