Same goes for the capital, Tórshavn. You will be in Vestmanna no later than 40 minutes after leaving the capital behind. This makes Vestmanna and especially this kayaking activity a must do thing when in the Faroe Islands.

When weather allows, the tour also continues north towards Hagagjógv, a beautiful gorge located just north of Vestmanna, giving you an even more unique perspective of the coastline.

The duration of the kayaking tour is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Guests who hold a valid kayaking license (IPP1 European Paddle Pass Level 2, BCU 2 Star Award, or ACA Level 3 Coastal Kayak Certificate) may rent kayaks for independent paddling. Rental options are available for 1–3 hours or 3–6 hours. The price for 1–3 hours is 600 DKK per person, and 3–6 hours is 1000 DKK per person. Kayak, paddle, dry suit and life jacket are included in the rental.
