concert in Varpið

If it is not already a tradition for Klaksvíkar Hornorkestur to hold a concert on Friday evening during Norðoyastevna, it will hopefully become one soon. This exciting concert is scheduled for Friday, May 29 at 7:30 PM.

The brass band has invited the young wind musicians from Skúlatrøð to open the concert. These young musicians are developing quickly and impressively, and the orchestra is delighted that the young talents want to participate.

Havnar Hornorkestur, conducted by Tróndur Olsen, will also be guest performers at the concert.

They will begin with their own program, after which both orchestras will perform together.

The concert will feature traditional brass band music, though, as always, with some interesting surprises included. Rani Nolsøe will be the narrator for the evening.
