This year, Tvøroyri Brass Band is hosting the Music Festival, which will take place on Ascension Day, May 16th.

At the Music Festival, brass and wind bands from all over the Faroe Islands gather to each perform their own concert and also play together.
The concert will be held at SALT at 1:30 PM.

The first Music Festival was held in Vestmanna in 1966, and since then the bands have taken turns hosting the event. This year's festival will be the 59th in the series.
