ÓKADAGAR 2026: Award Ceremony

Who will receive this year’s Ebba Prize? The winner will be revealed at the Bókadagar literary festival, where the prize will be awarded to a young writer who has demonstrated exceptional talent and promising literary ability.
The Ebba Prize is worth DKK 25,000 and was established following a donation from author Ebba Hentze to Rithøvundafelagið (the Faroese Writers’ Association). The prize is awarded annually to a young writer, continuing Ebba Hentze’s wish to support and encourage new literary voices.
Join us as this year’s winner is announced and help celebrate a new talent in Faroese literature.
