The Faroese pianist Aksel Remmel and Canadian cellist Félix Nunes are coming to Klaksvík to perform exciting and beautiful music for cello and piano.

The program is arranged in a way that makes it engaging both for those who are new to classical music and for more experienced listeners.

The Cello Sonata by Shostakovich is a deeply moving and captivating work. Fantasiestücke by Schumann is a set of three short movements, each with its own distinct character. Vocalise by Rachmaninoff contains one of the most iconic and beautiful melodies in the classical repertoire. Finally, they will perform two pieces from Four Cities by Fazıl Say, inspired by folk and jazz music.

The concert lasts approximately 50 minutes.
