SUMMARTÓNAR 2026: Singer-Songwriter

With her captivating folk-pop, Guðrið Hansdóttir takes the audience on a journey through stories about, among other things, the fog, the sailor, love, and life’s dilemmas.
Guðrið has been active on the Faroese and international music scene for the past 20 years and has performed at festivals such as SXSW, Spot Festival, Iceland Airwaves, By:Larm, and Nürnberg Pop.
Her latest album Gult myrkur was named Album of the Year and awarded Best Lyrics at FMA 2023. In April this year, her new full-length album titled Sýrublað was released. In connection with this, Guðrið held a sold-out concert at the Nordic House.
