SUMMARTÓNAR 2026: Classical

Spółdzielnia Muzyczna is one of the most active contemporary ensembles in Poland. The musicians have performed at some of the world’s most prestigious events, including MaerzMusik in Berlin, Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in Darmstadt, AFEKT in Estonia, and Warsaw Autumn.
At Summartonar 2026, the ensemble will present a programme dedicated to female composers in contemporary music. It will feature new works by Faroese and Polish composers, combining electroacoustic music and multimedia with a focus on environmental visions. The project is organised with support from the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
