Fuglafjørður is a small town with lots to offer!

Visit the small town or the big village, where nature, industry and culture go hand in hand.

Visit this cosy place by the fjord with incredible mountains all the way around.
Everything is ''right there''. A nice city centre with a marina, beach, rivers and waterfalls, everything ''right there''.

Fuglafjørður has an cosy library, an active culture house and next to it, the iconic ''Kyrjasteinur'' right outside. Further up in town you will find the old store which now houses the Ribarhús gallery with the beautiful handicraft shop and a coffee shop.

On the main street, you will find several shops and other things on offer - i.e. fashion, beauty products, gifts, souvenirs, yarn, places to eat, and supermarkets. Make sure to visit the unique shops, Ribarhús, Fjord and NoðaStova. Get a meal at the authentic village restaurant Muntra, or find fast food at Pitsa 530.
When you walk around town, you will find different types of outdoor art, as well as statues which all have a story to tell.
In the small park in the town centre, you find the unique new monument dedicated to women who died in childbirth, probably the only one of its kind.
Nearby you'll find ''Queen's bench'', which was made for the Danish Queen Margrethe's visit in 2021.
