The Faroe Islands Symphony Orchestra´s annual Christmas event

It's Christmas time, and with Christmas comes delightful holiday music. This year, the Faroe Islands Symphony Orchestra is ready to deliver again as they perform their popular Christmas and family concerts at the Nordic House on December 7th and 8th.
The concerts are a collaboration with the music schools in the Faroe Islands, where talented music students can play alongside a large orchestra at a professional level.
As tradition dictates, it is especially the young musicians who perform at the concert.
Four children and youth choirs from Tórshavnar Musikkskúla, Nes Sóknar Musikkskúla, and Musikkskúlin í Vágum are part of this year's concerts. Edith Dahl Jacobsen, Joanna Johansen, and Katrin á Borg Johannesen are the daily leaders of the choirs.
Additionally, Dan Eyðun Karbech Saxov is this year's soloist. Dan Eyðun is a second-year student with Jesper Sivebæk at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen.
Prepare for a program filled with musical Christmas treats, guided confidently by 13-year-old Palli Petersen.
